Alcohol Withdrawal

This session involves the basics of managing a patient with acute alcohol withdrawal and particularly focusing on the CIWA protocol. The CIWA protocol tends to vary slightly from trust to trust but has the same backbone of treatment strategy. We will outline the crux of the protocol in this teaching session.
